If you haven’t been to FACE before, see below for some basic instructions to accompany the Google Map search that you’ve probably already done to get to Westminster Road! FACE is in the same building as LA Productions.
The Old St Lawrence School, Westminster Road, Kirkdale, L4 3TQ
Train
We are a short walk from Kirkdale Station on the Kirkby or Ormskirk Northern Lines.
- turn right out of the station onto Westminster Road and head towards the traffic lights
- after crossing Brewster Street/Melrose Road at the lights, head towards the Sedem Chemists
- just after the chemists, turn left into Leighton St and then you will come to the school gates
- press the RECEPTION buzzer on the keypad to be let in
- follow the “playground” round to the front of the school and then call us and someone will come and let you in – PLEASE DO NOT PRESS THE INTERCOM
Car
If coming from the “Goodison Park” or “Everton Park Sports Centre” end of Westminster Road
- if coming along Barlow Lane from Goodison, make sure you turn right at the Elm Tree pub into the “north” section of Westminster Road
- if coming from Liverpool/Everton Park Sports Centre, make sure you bear left at the Elm Tree pub into the “north” section of Westminster Road
- turn right into Leighton St
or from the “Kirkdale Station” end of Westminster Road
- turn left into Leighton St.
Once on Leighton St, turn right into the school. If the automatic gate is closed
- if arriving on foot, press the RECEPTION buzzer on the keypad to be let in
- if arriving by car, enter the code (you will need to call us for this) and then press ENTER
There is ample parking as you turn into the school gates or if you follow the “playground” round to the front of the school.
If the entrance door is not already open, just call us or press the intercom and someone will come and let you in.
When leaving
- if on foot, buzz LA Reception from outside the main entrance and tell them that you are leaving on foot – they will watch you on CCTV and open the gate as you get to it.
- if by car, drive into the white box and the gate will open automatically to leave
