Attendance Allowance is for anyone of state pension age or older who physical disability, mental disability or other health conditions.

Attendance allowance is paid at 2 different rates dependent on how the level of care you need because of your health conditions, you do not have to have someone caring for you to be able to claim.
Lower rate – £76.70 – Frequent help or constant supervision during the day, or supervision at night
Higher rate – £114.60 – Help or supervision throughout both day and night, or a medical professional has said you’re nearing the end of life
Attendance allowance does not cover mobility needs. You could get extra Pension Credit, Housing Benefit or Council Tax Reduction if you get Attendance Allowance.
